The poster for the inaugural TechOlympics 2024 was unveiled by the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, along with the President of Pardis Technology Park, in the presence of a large audience. This event, set to take place in the fall of 2024 at Pardis Technology Park, will feature competitions among top specialists in five key technology fields: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, programming, robotics, and drone technology.
In his speech at the ceremony, Dehghani Firouzabadi stated, “For the past month, we have been planning both national and international competitions within the Vice Presidency for Science. This competition will last about a year, and we hope to create a vibrant national atmosphere for professionals in technical and engineering fields. Unfortunately, a lack of awareness about the future of these fields has led to a decline in interest, and we hope that these national and international competitions will inspire more young people.”
Mehdi Saffari-Nia, President of Pardis Technology Park, highlighted the planning of this event at the park, stating, “We aim to hold preliminary rounds of the TechOlympics at the regional level so that all provinces can participate in these competitions.”
He also emphasized the goals of the event, which include talent identification and development, technological growth, and strengthening team and individual synergy. “Identifying and supporting the country’s top talents is the primary goal of this TechOlympics,” he added.
TechOlympics 2024 is the latest initiative by Pardis Technology Park to identify, support, and showcase the best talents in various technology fields across the country. This promotional event, scheduled for the fall of 2024, will see top talents and notable individuals in various technology sectors compete and showcase their achievements, aiming for the podium of this prestigious competition.
