Pardis Technology Park official, Sajad Abbasi-Fashami, announced that TechOlympics 2025 is now an international tech brand, attracting 10,000 domestic and 1,055 foreign talents.
According to the Technology Olympics Secretariat, Sajad Abbasi-Fashami, Director-General of Promotion and Development of Innovation Clusters at Pardis Technology Park, announced the overwhelming registration numbers, confirming the massive participation of domestic and international elites in the second edition of the competition.
Abbasi-Fashami stated: "Tech Olympics 2025 is organized across six main areas and over 20 specialized leagues. To date, over 10,000 individuals from within the country and 1,055 from 65 countries worldwide have registered. These figures prove that the Technology Olympics has transcended its national scope to become an international brand in the field of technological competitions."
He elaborated on the selection process for the final participants: "Out of the total registrants, approximately 1,000 individuals will secure permission to attend the final Technology Olympics competitions after successfully completing the preliminary stages."
AI and Cybersecurity Lead Participation
The Director-General detailed the competition breakdown: "The Programming and Artificial Intelligence (AI) League has received the highest volume of interest, with nearly 8,000 registrants in these two fields. Furthermore, the Cybersecurity League has attracted around 2,000 participants, with prizes totaling 13,000 allocated for the winners of this category."
He mentioned other popular competition areas: "The Internet of Things (IoT), Drone Technology, and Warrior Robot competitions are also highly favored sections this year, supported by specialized institutions, knowledge-based companies, and university centers."
Abbasi-Fashami concluded: "Tech Olympics 2025 provides a golden opportunity for Iranian elites to showcase their capabilities at the highest level alongside international talents, strengthening scientific and technological collaboration between Iran and other nations."
